Workspace Settings

Configure workspace-specific settings, manage members, and control workspace preferences.

Workspace Settings

Access Workspace Settings:

  1. Click your workspace name in the sidebar
  2. Select "Workspace Settings"
  3. Or use the shortcut: Click the gear icon ⚙️

What You Can Configure:

Workspace Name

Change your workspace display name

Workspace Image

Upload a logo or avatar

Members

Invite, remove, or change member roles

Invite Code

Generate or reset workspace invite links

User Settings

Access your personal profile settings and view all your workspaces in one centralized location.

Accessing User Settings:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of any page
  2. Select "User Settings" from the dropdown menu
  3. You'll see two main tabs:

    👤 Profile Tab

    Manage your personal information and preferences

    🏢 Workspaces Tab

    View all workspaces you're a member of

Profile Tab Features:

Full Name

Update your display name across all workspaces

Profile Image

Upload or change your avatar (supports JPG, PNG, GIF)

Email Address

View your account email (managed through authentication)

Workspaces Tab Features:

📊 Workspace Statistics

View quick stats at the top of the page:

  • • Total number of workspaces
  • • Workspaces where you're an Owner
  • • Workspaces where you're an Admin
  • • Workspaces where you're a Member

🔍 Search & Filter

Quickly find workspaces by name using the search bar

💾 Storage Analytics

Each workspace card shows:

  • • Your role badge (Owner/Admin/Member/Viewer)
  • • Number of workspace members
  • • Last updated timestamp
  • View Details button for storage breakdown

📈 Storage Analytics Details

Click "View Details" on any workspace to see:

  • Overview: Total storage usage with database and file storage split
  • Database: Breakdown by collections (workspaces, projects, tasks, docs, comments, etc.)
  • Storage: Breakdown by file types (images, attachments, documents, etc.)
  • Refresh: Real-time calculation button to update analytics

💡 Pro Tips:

  • • The tabs are URL-based - you can bookmark specific tabs or share URLs
  • • Use the Refresh button to update your workspace list
  • • Storage analytics are cached and calculated hourly by a background function
  • • Click any workspace card to navigate to that workspace dashboard

Quick Profile Updates

Alternative Access Method:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select "User Settings"
  3. Update your profile information

Profile Options:

  • ✓ Change your display name
  • ✓ Upload a profile picture
  • ✓ Update email address
  • ✓ Set your timezone
  • ✓ Choose language preferences

Theme (Light/Dark Mode)

Switch Themes:

  1. Look for the theme toggle button 🌙 / ☀️ in the top navigation
  2. Click to switch between Light and Dark modes
  3. Your preference is saved automatically

Notification Settings

Configure Notifications:

  1. Go to User Settings → Notifications
  2. Choose which events trigger notifications
  3. Enable/disable email notifications
  4. Set quiet hours if needed

When someone comments on your work

Status Updates

When task statuses change

Security

Security Options:

  • Change Password: Update your account password regularly
  • Two-Factor Authentication: Add an extra layer of security (coming soon)
  • Active Sessions: View and manage logged-in devices
  • API Keys: Generate tokens for integrations
